Participant Information

Thank you for expressing interest in becoming a participant in our focus groups and mock trials. Most participants find the process educational and an enjoyable way to gain insight about the legal process. Please read the descriptions below before filling out the application form.
Understand that your information will not be accessed or sold to any other agency. We are always looking for participants from all walks of life.

Participant Selection Process

Mock Trials – For mock trials, we select participants based on demographic metrics set by the client. Ideally, clients will perform several mock trials to account for bias of opinion. If the client doesn’t request a particular juror type, we will randomly select participants from our pool. We will normally give at least a 48-hour notice to those selected for an upcoming opportunity.

Focus Groups – For focus groups, we determine the amount of participants as well as the number of trials desired by the client before sending out a “Call for Action” email. Keep an eye on your inbox as well as social media accounts in order to express your interest in registering.

Payment

Jurors and participants are paid immediately following the mock trial. You will be advised beforehand on the start and end times of the trial. Please keep in mind that this mock trial reflects a real trial and that your cooperation and professionalism are both expected and appreciated.

Bonus Payment (Mock trial only)

Promptness is critical and timeliness rewarded. You are expected to arrive 15 minutes before the announced start time. If you arrive more than 30 minutes prior, you will be entered into a drawing for an additional cash payment of $100. Please schedule your time accordingly for this so you do not miss out on this exciting chance!
