Thank you for your interest in becoming a participant in our focus groups and mock trials. Most participants find the process educational and enjoyable, and it’s a great way to gain insight into the legal system.
We are always looking for participants from all counties around the metro KC area.
We welcome you—your family and friends, and others ages 18–80. Follow us on social media to learn about upcoming trials.
Mock Trials – We select participants based on demographics requested by the client. If the client doesn’t specify a juror type, we randomly select from our pool. We provide at least 48-hour notice to selected participants.
Focus Groups – We determine how many participants are needed and send a “Call to Action” email to potential candidates. Keep an eye on your inbox and social media for upcoming opportunities.
Jurors and participants are paid immediately in cash following the mock trial.
Compensation varies depending on the case, but it’s paid in cash, same day! You will be advised of the pay and schedule ahead of time.
Please note this is a real trial simulation, and your professionalism is expected and appreciated.
Promptness is rewarded. You are expected to arrive 15 minutes early. If you arrive more than 30 minutes early, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a cash bonus.

Each session is different. Often, our jurors are asked to decide and deliberate on real cases. Some lawyers want to practice their jury selection, closing arguments, and juror reactions to certain issues.
No. No experience is necessary. Just be willing to speak your mind and if asked, give your verdict. The lawyers want to know what you think!
The proceedings are recorded.
You will be paid in cash immediately upon completion of the session. The opportunity for an additional cash bonus will be explained at time of your selection for a particular session.
